Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation Presents 2012 "Prelude to the Blues"

A series of intimate musical concerts in beautiful homes and unique settings.

"Prelude to the Blues" features accomplished musicians performing in beautiful homes and unique settings. Proceeds help fund the Tinner Hill Blues Festival (June 8-10, 2012). Seating for the series is limited and tickets are by advance purchase only.

Sunday, March 4, 2012 (5-8 pm) Cathy Ponton King’s unforgettable voice will echo through the lovingly restored Victorian home of Kent and Cathy Taylor. This resplendent home, surrounded by abundant trees, is the perfect setting for Ms King and her band. Enjoy the charming Ms. King’s unique style of Blues in the Little City, Falls Church, Virginia!

And what’s Blues without BBQ? Our meal will be catered by Falls Church Famous Dave's BBQ Restaurant. Ticket price includes the performance, BBQ meal and refreshing beverages. Reserve yours today. Limited seating - $25 per ticket.

Sunday, April 22, 2012 (5-8 pm) Prelude to the Blues goes international when Michael Roach returns for a limited U.S. engagement. This concert will mark Mr. Roach’s first U.S. appearance in three years. A native Washingtonian, Mr. Roach makes his home in the UK. He sings and plays guitar in an East Coast (Piedmont) style of Blues that dates back to the 1920s.

Our host venue, Creative Cauldron located in downtown Falls Church, will be transformed to a Classic European Bistro with delectable cuisine! This concert is sure to sell out, get your ticket early! Space is limited to 90 seats - $40 per ticket.
